Ripley Gardens gave new life to the historic Ripley Memorial Hospital campus. The formerly vacant site is now a vibrant 60-unit community in the Harrison Neighborhood. The development includes three renovated historic structures and three newly constructed buildings. Through a collaboration with Habitat for Humanity eight units are owner-occupied.
Rosemary spent seven years working on the Ripley Gardens project as a member of LHB’s housing group. Her involvement began with the creation of LHB’s initial project proposal and concluded with construction administration. She was an important part of the design team and applied her unique skills in many areas including community engagement, historic review, and accessibility.
